DRAWING COMPETITION
Deadline: 19th of May 2025

The TRA invites you to send in a drawing that celebrates your region's traditional housing architecture.

An online VOTE will be held on Instagram between 24-31 of May. Each drawing submitted will be the subject of an Instagram post and the following prizes will be awarded:

- People's choice (Instagram vote)
- Choice of La Table Ronde de l'Architecture Committee
- Choice of Ben Pentreath Ltd

Books on traditional construction & architecture history will be offered to the three prizes thanks to the generous support of Ben Pentreath architecture, interiors & masterplanning studio (based in London).

In addition, 10 drawings will be nominated by INTBAU Belgium.

The drawings will be exhibited in Bruges and in other places (programme to be confirmed) and will then join the TRA archives in Bruges.
The drawings will also be the subject of an online exhibition on our website.

IMPORTANT

Please read this carefully, and follow all the steps:

1. The participant can submit only one entry;

2. All hand drawing and painting techniques are allowed (no computer drawing will be accepted, nor computer-colored drawings);

3. Your drawing must be drawn from a real place;

4. Your drawing can be an elevation, a section, a plan or a perspective (only one of these);

5. Your drawing can represent one house, a group of houses or/and an appartment building(s);

6. Your drawing must be no bigger than an A2 format;

7. By the 19/05/2025, please send your drawing by email in Jpeg format and in High resolution and a short text (max 250 words, PDF file) giving details on the exact location and the particular architecture of the drawing.

8. By the 23/05/2025, please send your drawing by post in a well-protected package (envelope or tube) to La Table Ronde de l'Architecture asbl, 13 Sint Annarei, 8000, Bruges, Belgium.

1. Please also send us your Instagram, Facebook and/or website if you have them so that we can tag/add them on your drawing instagram post on the 24/05/2025.
