The stages in the blacksmith's craft - from design to the installation of a structure

The different tools and techniques used in the past and today, and the results obtained by using them in 17th and 18th century ironwork, Art Nouveau, Art Deco and new contemporary ironwork.

Baroque volutes - design, practice and project

Metal ornaments - drawing, practice and project
-
The Art Nouveau whip - drawing, practice and project
-
Art Deco decoration - drawing, practice and project
-
Brushing, rubbing, polishing, colouring and waxing wrought iron for interiors - practice and project.

Visit to the beautiful town of Oudenaarde
-
Round table to discuss participants' personal projects (advice), the practice of wrought ironwork today and the future of the craft.
Teachers of the TRA will be present at certain times during the course.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Our team can assist students with transport on Monday morning and
Friday evening from Waregem and Bruges stations.
