DRAWING COMPETITION Deadline: 15 August 2025 The International Network for Traditional Building, Architecture and Urbanism (INTBAU) and La Table Ronde de l'Architecture (TRA) invite you to submit a hand-drawn architectural illustration of a new traditional architecture project—either built or unbuilt—that celebrates the traditional architecture of your region. A shortlist of selected entries will be announced via email on 20 August 2025. The shortlisted drawings will then be presented on Instagram and submitted to a public vote between 23 and 31 August 2025. Prizes 1st Prize – People's Choice Award (via Instagram vote) 2nd Prize – Selected by INTBAU & La Table Ronde de l'Architecture Jury 3rd Prize – Selected by INTBAU & La Table Ronde de l'Architecture Jury INTBAU will offer the 1st prize winner a ticket to attend the INTBAU World Congress 2025 in London, taking place from 22 to 24 October 2025. All three winners will receive the magnificent book The Architecture of Community by Léon Krier, as well as a selection of architecture books generously offered by Maurice Culot. Additionally, ten nominated entries will be selected by INTBAU. The second and third prize winners, along with all nominees, will receive a 25% discount on their admission to the World Congress. The prize-winning & nominated drawings will be exhibited in Bruges in September and in London in October, during the INTBAU World Congress 2025. They will become part of the permanent archives of La Table Ronde de l’Architecture in Bruges and will also be featured in an online exhibition on the TRA website. Submission Guidelines - Each participant may submit only one drawing. - Hand-drawn and hand-painted techniques only. Digital drawings or computer-colored drawings will not be accepted. - The drawing must illustrate a personal project, built or unbuilt, that celebrates traditional architecture from your own region. - The project must be based on a real place. - Your drawing can represent an elevation, a section, a plan, or/and a perspective of your project. - The drawing must not exceed A1 format. How to Enter By 15 August 2025, send the following by email to contact@latablerondearchitecture.com: - A high-resolution JPEG of your drawing - A PDF (max. 250 words) with: - Project title and location - A brief description (architecture, construction, etc) If shortlisted: - Send the original drawing by post in a protected envelope or tube to: La Table Ronde de l'Architecture asbl 13 Sint-Annarei 8000 Bruges Belgium All customs duties must be paid in advance. Unpaid charges may result in your package being blocked.
